I got this recipe from an Extension Homemakers cookbook. It is pretty easy to make, and everyone should have most of the ingredients on hand. It's quick and easy, and kids love them. You can top with anything including cheese. Ingredients:
1/4 cup milk |
1 lb ground beef |
1 teaspoon finely chopped onion |
1 teaspoon finely chopped green pepper |
2 tablespoons ketchup |
1/2 cup saltine (crushed) |
1 egg (beaten) |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 375 degrees. 2. Combine all ingredients. 3. Shape into balls and put into muffin tins. 4. Bake for 15-20 minutes. |
