This is one of my favourites that my Mom made when I was little.Quick and easy to make and really good. Enjoy! Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup cocoa |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup coconut |
3 cups rolled oats (or as much as needed for a fairly stiff batter) |
Directions:
1. Boil sugar, butter and milk for a few minutes. 2. Remove from heat and add cocoa and vanilla. 3. Next add coconut and rolled oats. You need to have a fairly stiff batter, so if 3 cups of oats is not enough add a little bit more. 4. Drop on waxed paper and let cool. |
