Mrs. Woods' French Bread With Tomato |

A delicious, crusty bread. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon yeast |
2 cups warm water |
2 cups crushed tomatoes |
7 cups bread flour |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 tablespoon salt |
2 tablespoons italian seasoning |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients; knead until smooth, about 10 minutes. 2. Let rise until doubled in size; punch down. 3. Shape into 3 loaves. Brush with olive oil and let rise again. 4. Slash with knife and bake at 450* for 45 minutes over a pan with ice water. |
