Mrs. Singletary's Pecan Pie |

This is a family recipe I got from my mother-in-law. Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups brown sugar |
1 1/3 cups log cabin pancake syrup |
3 beaten eggs or 3/4 cup egg substitute |
1/2 cup margarine, melted |
1 1/2 cups pecan pieces |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
pecan halves (to garnish) |
2 unbaked pie shells |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except pie shells. 2. Pour into unbaked pie shells. 3. Place pecan halves on top. 4. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. |
