This recipe came from Mrs J's old recipe box. Thanks for sharing with the rest of us. I used to buy it in a jar or can. Once you have tried Mrs J's, there's no way you'll go back to store brand. Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
3 large onions, diced |
2 large green peppers, diced |
1/2 cup barbecue sauce |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 1/2 teaspoons mustard |
1 tablespoon sugar |
3 tablespoons vinegar |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
20 ounces catsup (rinse bottle with water) |
Directions:
1. In a Dutch pot brown ground beef and drain out the fat. 2. Add all the remaining ingredients. 3. Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. |
