Love Mrs. F! I use minced garlic, and always up the pepper! When I got this recipe from her after a dinner party, she wrote My heart is swelling with pride as I press send ! Ingredients:
5 lbs back spareribs, cut into serving pieces |
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed |
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce |
1/3 cup soy sauce |
1/4 cup vinegar (regular or cider) |
1/4 cup chili sauce |
1/2 cup ketchup |
2 teaspoons prepared mustard |
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Place ribs in a large roasting pan and bake, uncovered, for 3/4 hour. 3. Drain off all drippings. 4. Mix sauce ingredients and pour over ribs. 5. Marinate ribs in sauce in turned off oven for 3-4 hours. 6. Bake uncovered 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hrs longer, turning and basting every 20 minutes until tender and richly browned. |
