In an attempt to watch our salt intake, we use Campbell's Low Sodium Tomato juice. It even makes a nice juice drink without the voldka. Ingredients:
1 (46 ounce) can campbell's low-sodium tomato juice |
4 tablespoons lime juice |
3 tablespoons jalapeno juice (from canned jalapeno peppers) |
3 tablespoons vinegar |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 teaspoons horseradish |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon onion powder |
1 dash garlic |
Directions:
1. Combine all but tomato juice in a blender. Stir that mixture into the tomato juice. Mix well. Mix 3 parts Bloody Mary mix with 1 part voldka. Store in refrigerator. |
