Unique twist on salsa! I love it with garlic roasted triscuits, or on baugette style bread under the broiler...mmmmm! Ingredients:
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, diced into 1/4 cubes |
1 cup diced roasted red peppers |
1 green onions cut diagonally into thin slices |
3 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh basil |
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil |
freshly ground pepper to taste |
baguette style bread, pita chips, bagel chips or triscuits |
Directions:
1. Combine Mozzarella cheese, red peppers, green onion, fresh basil, and olive oil in medium bowl; mix well. 2. Season salsa with black pepper. 3. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or overnight. 4. Serve with Pita Chips, Bagel Chips or Triscuits 5. Spoon salsa on baguette-style bread. 6. Broil until cheese begins to melt and edges of bread begin to brown. |
