Great way to use Mozzarella and a change from the Swiss type of quiches. May also add sundried tomatoes Ingredients:
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell |
4 eggs |
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese |
1/4 cup canned mild green or red chili peppers |
1 clove garlic minced |
1 tsp dried basil or oregano |
2 cups cream |
1 cup half and half |
salt and pepper |
paprika |
Directions:
1. Place cheese on bottom of pie crust 2. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over cheese. 3. Sprinkle with paprika 4. Bake 375 till puffed and golden about 50 minutes or custard is set and jiggles 5. Cool to warm and cut. 6. Freezes well and reheats well in the oven |
