TRIED AND TRUE. These are phenominal and often requested. I hope you enjoy as much as we do. Yummers. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
8 squares unsweetened chocolate |
5 eggs |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
3-1/2 cups granulated sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1-3/4 cup flour |
1 cup chocolate chips |
1 cup white chocolate coarsely chopped |
1 cup macadamia nuts coarsely chopped |
mousse topping |
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream |
1 cup chocolate chips |
3 eggs |
1/3 cup granulated sugar |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Melt butter and chocolate squares over low heat in heavy saucepan stirring often. 2. When melted remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. 3. Beat eggs, vanilla, sugar and salt at medium speed for 10 minutes. 4. Blend in chocolate butter mixture at low speed until mixed but do not over beat. 5. Add flour then blend gently until mixed but do not beat. 6. Stir in chocolate chips, white chocolate and macadamia nuts. 7. Pour batter into generously greased rectangular baking dish. 8. Heat whipping cream and chocolate chips in heavy saucepan. 9. Stir constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth then cool slightly. 10. Beat eggs, sugar and salt until foamy then stir into chocolate mixture. 11. Spread over brownie mixture then bake at 375 for 45 minutes. 12. Cool overnight then cut into squares. |
