Tomato Cheese Bacon Bread Ingredients:
6 slices firm textured bread |
12 slices bacon |
2 tablespoons butter |
6 slices sharp cheddar cheese |
6 slices tomatoes |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Toast the bread and slice into 6 pieces. 2. Saute the bacon for 5 minutes or until half-cooked. 3. Spread with butter and place a slice of cheese on each piece of bread. 4. Top with a slice of tomato and two slices of bacon. 5. Place under a hot broiler and cook until cheese has melted and the bacon is crisp. 6. Serve hot. |
