A wonderful Dutch oven breakfast perfect for camping trips. Ingredients:
1/2 lb bacon, cut into small pieces |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 (32 ounce) bag frozen hash brown potatoes |
12 eggs, beaten |
salt & pepper |
1 lb cheddar cheese, grated |
8 ounces salsa |
Directions:
1. Fry bacon and onion together. 2. Remove bacon and onion and drain on paper towels. 3. Wipe excess grease out of dutch oven. 4. Fry hash brown potatoes. 5. Add onions and bacon. 6. Pour beaten eggs over mixture, cover and cook until almost solid. 7. Season to taste. 8. Sprinkle with grated cheese. 9. Cover until cheese is melted. 10. Serve with salsa. |
