This is a delicious recipe from my first MIL, God rest her soul. It is a wonderful comfort food on a cold or rainy night! Ingredients:
2/3 cup uncooked rice |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup half-and-half |
4 cups hot milk |
2 -3 teaspoons cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Heat milk. 2. Mix all ingredients in a deep baking dish. 3. Bake at 325* for 1-1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. 4. It is ready when the liquid is all absorbed. |
