If you like it spicy, this is a great marinade for chicken, lamb or beef steaks. This marinade recipe makes enough for 2lb of meat, chicken or beef. Marinate red meat or poultry for 2 hours at room temp or 24-48 hours in the fridge. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil |
2 small lemons, juice |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric |
1 teaspoon harissa or 1 red chili pepper, minced |
1 small onion, very finely chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients together and use as required. |
