A fresh finish for a spicy Moroccan meal. You might want to add some creme fraiche if you are feeling indulgent Ingredients:
8 large ripe peaches, skin removed |
3 tblspns superfine sugar |
8 tspns rose water |
fresh mint leaves, to decorate |
Directions:
1. Peel the peaches (blanch for a few seconds if the skins are being difficult) 2. Cut each one in half, twist the halves apart and remove the stones 3. Slice the peaches into a serving bowl 4. Sprinkle with sugar and rosewater 5. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 2 hours to let the flavours develop 6. Serve decorated with mint leaves |
