Ingredients:
1/2 onion
3 tablespoon(s) parsley
2 slice(s) white bread
1 egg
2 pound(s) ground beef or ground lamb
1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon(s) paprika
4 teaspoon(s) butter or olive oil
1/2 onion
1/2 teaspoon(s) paprika
1/2 teaspoon(s) turmeric
1/4 teaspoon(s) cumin
1/4 teaspoon(s) cayenne
1 1/2 cup(s) chicken broth
3 tablespoon(s) fresh cilantro
3 tablespoon(s) fresh parsley
3 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients for meatballs. Form walnut-sized meatballs.
2. For sauce, soften onion in preheated butter/oil. Add paprika through cayenne. Cook one minute. Add chicken broth and cilantro. Bring to a boil. Add meatballs. Simmer covered for 45 minutes. Add parsley and lemon juice. Return to boil for 2 minutes.
