Moroccan Lentil and Pumpkin Soup Crockpot

Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, mashed
1 green pepper, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, crushed
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 pinch saffron
2 cups lentils
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
2 cups pumpkin, cubed
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1 carrot, sliced
6 cups stock
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
Directions:
1. saute the onion garlic ginger and jalapeno until soft
2. heat spices and tomato paste
3. add with rest of ingredients into crockpot.
4. cook on low.
