Pretty easy dish. And tastes good.
Ingredients:
4 medium size carrots
1/4 cup minced onion
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
6 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/2 cup raisins
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Directions:
1. 1. Peel carrots and thinly slice.
2. 2. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan.
3. 3. Add carrots, onion and nutmeg.
4. 4. When onions have browned add the vinegar.
5. 5. Cover and cook over a low heat until carrots are tender.
6. 6. Add the raisins and the brown sugar.
7. 7. When the raisins are warm then serve.
