This is a very nice coffeecake to make ahead of time and then bake fresh for your family and friends. Enjoy Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter softened |
1 cup granulated sugar |
2 eggs |
8 ounces sour cream |
2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy then add eggs and sour cream and mix well. 2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. 3. Fold dry ingredients into batter and mix well then pour into greased and floured baking pan. 4. Combine brown sugar, walnuts and cinnamon then sprinkle over batter. 5. Cover and refrigerate overnight then bake uncovered at 350 for 40 minutes. |
