A light, healthy way to start your day. I have also included the peach variation for this recipe, below.
Ingredients:
1 tortilla, preferably whole wheat (about 6 inches)
2 tsp fruit only strawberry preserves
2 tbsp reduced fat ricotta cheese
1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries (1/3 - 1/2 cup)
2 tbsp sliced almonds, toasted
Directions:
1. On a surface, spread preserves on tortilla.
2. Top with ricotta cheese.
3. Carefully top with sliced fruit.
4. Sprinkle with sliced almonds.
5. Starting from one end, roll tightly.
6. Wrap in foil for neater eating.
7. PEACH BREAKFAST WRAP:
8. Spread tortilla with apricot preserves and use sliced fresh or canned in own juice, well-drained peaches
