This is a blender recipe. I use this in substitute of breakfast or lunch. I also use this to try achieve my goal of 9 fruits/veggies a day. :) It always differs but a few items always remain the same. I use a vita mix blender and it never ceases to amaze me. Well worth the investment. Ingredients:
1 banana |
6 strawberries (fresh or frozen) |
1/4 cup skim milk |
1/4 cup fat free greek yogurt |
2 tablespoons nut butter (peanut, almond, cashew all natural no additives) |
4 baby carrots |
2 green leaf lettuce |
4 mini sweet peppers (red, orange and yellow) |
2 cups watermelon |
1/4 cup pineapple |
1/2 cup blueberries |
1/2 cup ice |
Directions:
1. Wash items 2. Blend until desired consistency. |
