This is a blender recipe. I use this in substitute of breakfast or lunch. I also use this to try achieve my goal of 9 fruits/veggies a day. :) It always differs but a few items always remain the same. I use a vita mix blender and it never ceases to amaze me. Well worth the investment.
Ingredients:
1 banana
6 strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup fat free greek yogurt
2 tablespoons nut butter (peanut, almond, cashew all natural no additives)
4 baby carrots
2 green leaf lettuce
4 mini sweet peppers (red, orange and yellow)
2 cups watermelon
1/4 cup pineapple
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup ice
Directions:
1. Wash items
2. Blend until desired consistency.
