Bursting with the taste of fresh apples and cinnamon, the creamy combination of Eagle Brand and applesauce makes this coffee-style cake irresistibly moist. Ingredients:
1 (300 ml) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk |
2 eggs |
1 1/2 cups butter, melted |
3 cups biscuit mix |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
2 cups applesauce |
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans |
1 cup raisins |
2 apples, cored, peeled, and thinly sliced |
added ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Whisk together Eagle Brand, eggs and melted butter. Stir in baking mix, cinnamon, applesauce, pecans and raisins, if using. 2. Pour batter evenly into parchment paper-lined 13x9 baking dish. Arrange the apples in rows over batter. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired. 3. Bake in preheated 325F oven 40-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm or at room temperature. Garnish as desired. |
