This recipe was published in the Sunset Magazine . Ingredients:
4 ounces spaghetti, broken into 2 inch pieces |
1 egg |
1 cup sour cream |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 cups shredded monterey jack cheese |
1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained |
1 (2 7/8 ounce) can french-fried onions |
Directions:
1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. 2. In a medium bowl, beat the egg. 3. Add sour cream, parmesan and garlic powder. 4. Drain spaghetti; add to egg mixture with cheese, spinach and 1/2 onions. 5. Pour into a greased 2 quart baking dish. 6. Cover and bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes. 7. Top with remaining onions. 8. Return to oven for 5 minutes or until onions are golden brown. |
