These would probably be better with a from-scratch peanut butter cookie recipe, but if you're looking for something easy for a Halloween party, these are pretty good. Ingredients:
1 bag peanut m&m’s |
1 17.5-oz. bag peanut butter cookie mix (plus oil, water, egg) |
1/2 cup flour |
green food coloring |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350.
2. Line baking sheets with foil.
3. Prepare the cookie mix according to package instructions.
4. Knead in the flour and some of the green food coloring.
5. Pull off walnut-size nuggets of dough.
6. Shape into 1 - 1 1/2-inch ovals and roll in sugar.
7. Place on the prepared sheet about 2 inches apart.
8. Press an M&M onto one end as the toenail.
9. Bake for approximately 9-12 minutes, or until just golden and cookies have puffed and spread. Remove from the oven, transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely.
