This is served every year on Christmas morning by my husband's family. I had to get the recipe for us so he wouldn't miss it. Of course I modified it slightly. It's so easy and delicious. I've made it in other sized pans and it will work fine, but you may have to adjust the cooking time. Read more . The recipe is from my mother-in-law. Ingredients:
4 cups biscuits (1 can grands flaky layer biscuits) |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 tbsp cinnamon |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Butter pan well (can use bundt or 8 square pan but need to vary cooking time). 2. Mix together 1/2 Cup sugar and cinnamon. 3. Cut biscuits into pieces (quarters) and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. 4. Put biscuit pieces into pan. Sprinkle remaining sugar over biscuits. 5. Melt butter and brown sugar together and pour over biscuits. 6. Bake for ~20 minutes. |
