This is a little different than the usual recipes. This uses evaporated milk as one of the ingredients. I got this from a resident's daughter at my new job in Florida. I continue getting wonderful recipes in a new state! Ingredients:
4 (7 1/2 ounce) containers refrigerated biscuits |
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon |
3/4 cup sugar |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup evaporated milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. 2. In a small bowl mix 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon and 3/4 cup sugar. 3. Grease a 12 cup bundt pan. 4. Sprinkle 1/2 of chopped nuts in bottom of pan. 5. Cut each biscuit into quarters and roll into cinnamon sugar mixture. 6. Fill pan 1/2 full of biscuits. 7. Sprinkle remaining nuts. 8. Add remaining biscuits. 9. In a medium saucepan bring 3/4 cup butter, 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup evaporated milk to boil. 10. Pour over biscuits. 11. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. 12. Cool in pan for 5 minutes. 13. Invert onto serving plate. |
