Momz's Sweet and Sour Meatballs |

My mother in laws' recipe. I make a variation but it's never goes over as well as these do. Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) jar guava jelly |
1 (12 ounce) jar chili sauce |
1 1/2-2 lbs lean ground beef |
1/2 cup cooked rice |
1 egg |
1/2 cup water |
1 dash garlic pepper seasoning |
1/3 cup breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. In a large pot, dump guava jelly and chili sauce, and fill chili sauce jar with water and add to the mix. Heat to blend. 2. Mix beef, rice, egg, water, dash of garlic pepper, bread crumbs in bowl and form meatballs and add to sauce. 3. Cover and heat on low for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. |
