This is one of my mom's recipes. She always had one in the freezer in case company came. Everytime I bake it I think of her. Ingredients:
3 cups flour |
2 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
16 ounces frozen strawberries |
1 1/4 cup chopped pecans |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1 1/4 cup vegetable oil |
glaze |
1/4 cup strawberry juice |
1 to 2 tablespoons melted butter |
2 cups powdered sugar |
beat all with mixer until smooth |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Mix dry ingredients and seasonings 3. Add eggs, strawberries, and oil 4. Beat well with mixer 5. Pour into greased bundt pan 6. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees 7. Cool slightly before removing from pan 8. Add glaze to warm cake if desired |
