Mom's Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies |

This recipe has been in our family for years. Our mom baked it for us and now our kids cook them! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups butter or 1 1/2 cups margarine |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla |
3 large eggs |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
3 teaspoons warm water |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
3 3/4 cups flour |
12 ounces chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Cream together the butter & both sugars. 2. Add the remaining ingredients except chocolate chip; mix well. 3. Mix in chocolate chips. 4. Drop onto parchment-lined cookie sheets. 5. Bake at 350° for about 10 minutes or until golden. |
