This rice pudding has been my favorite since I was very little. I love making this because it is easy, yummy, and sometimes I have some almost expired milk that I need to use up. you can sprinkle some cinnamon on top Ingredients:
6 cups milk |
2/3 cup rice |
2/3 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Combine Milk, Rice, and Sugar in large pot. Cook at medium heat until milk is not yet all absorbed. 2. (could take 45 minutes to 1 hour. 3. Half way through add the Vanilla. 4. Stir occasionally. 5. When almost done it may start scorching bottom of pot. 6. take off heat and pour into seperate bowls. 7. add cinnamon on top (optional). 8. refrigorate for few hours (best overnight). |
