Ingredients:
3 cup(s) flour
3 cup(s) sugar
1 cup(s) crisco
1 cup(s) buttermilk
6 whole(s) eggs separate yolks from whites
1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
2 teaspoon(s) vanilla
Directions:
1. Blend sugar and shortening. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating
2. after each one. Add vanilla.
3. Sift dry ingredients in a separate dish.
4. Add dry ingredients alternating with milk to sugar mixture. Beat egg
5. whites (stiff). Fold into mixture.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
