Mom's Not Slimy Stewed Okra

I love mom's okra! QueenKungFu was looking for a non-slimy version...here it is! :) (Cornbread is a must with this!)
Ingredients:
2 slices bacon, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
10 ounces okra, frozen and sliced
14 1/2 ounces stewed tomatoes, diced
Directions:
1. Sautee bacon and onions in a large frypan.
2. Add okra and tomatoes.
3. Turn heat on low and cook until okra is tender.
