Mom's Meatloaf

My mother always made this on a cold winters day. A family favorite. Great for meatloaf sandwiches!!!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 eggs
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce or 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
Directions:
1. Combine beef, bread crumbs, eggs, salt, pepper, and 1/3 cup tomato sauce.
2. In shallow baking pan shape into loaf.
3. Bake at 375* for 1 hr.
4. Pour off excess fat.
5. Pour remaining sauce over loaf (indent if you wish).
6. Bake 15 minutes more.
