My mom is a great cook, yet I rarely get one of her recipes written down. I pestered her quite a bit for this one, so she finally gave in. Hope you like it as much as I do! Prep time includes marinating time. Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup water |
1/2 cup soy sauce |
1/4 cup pineapple juice |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 -3 lbs chicken wings (discard tips if desired) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except wings; stir until sugar is dissolved. 2. Pour over wings in a bowl small enough so the wings are covered. 3.
