This recipe is from my fiance's Mother. I have my own version but my fiance thought it was pretty good. I have never had it myself, so go easy! ;o) Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/2 teaspoon basil |
2 lbs hamburger, browned |
1 (16 ounce) package lasagna noodles |
2 eggs |
1 pint cottage cheese |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce, chunky |
2 tablespoons parsley |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese |
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Mix the garlic salt, basil, hamburger, salt and spaghetti sauce in a pot and simmer for 30 minutes. 2. Combine eggs, cottage cheese, parsley, pepper and the parmesan cheese. 3. Make the lasagne noodles according to package and rinse noodles. 4. Layer noodles, filling, mozzarella and meat; repeat. 5. Bake at 375 F for 30-40 minutes! |
