This was my moms fish chowder recipe that has been passed down. Ingredients:
1 cup chopped onion |
1/4 cup oleo |
4 cups peeled and dried potatoes |
2 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp pepper |
1/2 tsp basil |
2 cups water |
1 pound clams, cod, torsk, or haddock (cut in cubes) |
1 can whole kernel mexican corn |
1 tall can evaporated milk |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in large pot. 2. Simmer for 1 hour. |
