My mom is vegan and makes this all the time. It's great hot over whole wheat pasta and even good cold on crackers! Ingredients:
1 handful fresh basil |
1 handful fresh spinach |
2 garlic cloves |
2 tablespoons onions, chopped |
1/4 cup pine nuts |
1 tablespoon tahini |
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil |
1/8 tablespoon kelp (optional) |
Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients. |
