My mom used to make this for me when I was little and I never grew tired of it. It is quick, cheap, and easy. Hope you enjoy! Ingredients:
4 eggs |
4 -6 slices bread |
1/8 cup butter |
1 cup milk |
1/8 cup flour |
salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. Boil 4 eggs on med/high for 20 mins or so. 2. In a saucepan, over med. heat, combine the milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Cook until butter melts, then add the flour. Stir frequently using a whisk to insure a lump free sauce. Once the mix starts to bubble, turn the heat down and let simmer. The sauce should be a little thick. 3. Toast the bread. 4. Slice egg and seperate the yolk. 5. Lay the toast on a plate. Place egg ring on top. Pour the sauce over top, then sprinkle with egg yolk. |
