This is just a simple, no-fuss chili that comes together in a flash and is great comfort food. Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger |
1 small onion, chopped |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne |
1 tablespoon cumin |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed tomato soup |
1 (14 ounce) can peeled tomatoes, chopped |
1 (15 ounce) can red kidney beans |
1 large bay leaf |
Directions:
1. Brown hamburger with onions and garlic; add first five seasonings. 2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 minutes on medium heat. |
