Mom's Crunchy Cabbage Salad

This is a classic recipe my mom has been making since the 60s. This is an easy recipe and great for company.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles, uncooked and crumbled
4 green onions, sliced
1/2 head cabbage, shredded
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
1. Make dressing ahead, mix together and refrigerate.
2. Mix salad ingredients together, noodles last.
3. Toss slightly.
4. Pour dressing and serve immediately.
