Mom's Crock-Pot Vegetable Soup |

This soup is great served with rolls. Add frozen mixed vegetables the last 2 hours *** must cook on high to get veg done Ingredients:
1 lb boneless round steak (stew meat) |
14 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained |
3 cups water |
2 medium potatoes, diced (i use more) |
2 medium onions, diced |
3 celery ribs, sliced |
2 carrots, sliced |
3 beef bouillon cubes |
1/2 teaspoon dried basil |
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 tablespoon garlic |
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed vegetables |
Directions:
1. Mix all EXCEPT frozen vegetables . 2. Slow cook on High for 8 hours (for a crock pot that heats faster use the Medium setting). 3. Can add 1 1/2 Cups frozen mixed vegetable for the last 2 hours. It's great even without these. |
