A good, old fashioned, harvest or holiday family favorite. It is melt in your mouth yummy with just a touch of tart. Ingredients:
3 t melted butter |
1c sugar |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 c. milk |
2 c. sifted flour |
3 t. baking soda |
1 t. salt |
2 c. fresh cranberries |
1 c. butter |
2 c sugar |
1 c cream |
1 t. vanilla |
Directions:
1. Mix the melted butter and sugar. 2. Add beaten egg and milk alternately with dry ingredients. 3. Cut/chop cranberries and add last. 4. Bake in 13 x 9 greased pan at 350 for 30 minutes. 5. ******************* 6. Topping 7. Mix butter, sugar and cream in saucepan, cooking until smooth. 8. Bring to boiling point and add vanilla. 9. Slice and serve up cake then pour warm sauce over each individual serving. 10. Add a dollup of fresh whipped cream if desired. |
