Mom's Classic Slow Cooker Pot Roast |

Ingredients:
1/4 cup(s) beef broth/water |
2 pound(s) beef pot roast |
2 carrots, cut in 1 pieces |
1 envelope(s) dry onion mix |
1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper |
2 potatoes, quartered |
1 teaspoon(s) salt |
Directions:
1. Season roast with salt and pepper. 2. Over medium-high heat, brown roast on all sides. 3. Place vegetables in crock. 4. Place roast on top of vegetables. 5. Sprinkle with onion soup mix. 6. Drizzle beef brother over meat and vegetables. 7. Cover and cook on HIGH for 5 hours, or LOW for 10 hours. (Internal temperature should measure at least 160F/71C for medium.) Cooking on LOW setting will result in more tender meat. |
