I grew up on these chocolate chip cookies and I think they are the best. I don't know where she got the recipe, but try it for yourself and you be the judge. This is a recipe for people who like their cookies very moist and less cakey. Ingredients:
1 cup butter, room temperature (2 sticks) |
2 1/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
2 eggs |
2 cups chocolate chips |
1/2 cup nuts (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees 2. Sift all dry ingredients except for sugars and set aside. 3. Cream butter and sugars. 4. Add vanilla. 5. Add eggs one at a time. 6. Add sifted ingredients. 7. Add chips and nuts(if using). 8. Use two large spoons to scoop out dough onto cookie sheet(parchment paper is good to use on cookie sheet). 9. Bake for 8-10 minutes depending on how you like them baked. |
