My Mom was the casserole queen in her day. This used to be one of the family favorites growing up Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, cut up into pieces |
1/4 cup butter |
1 cup onion, chopped |
10 1/2 ounces cream of celery soup |
1/2 cup milk |
12 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon tarragon |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. In a large skillet, saute the onions and chicken in the butter. Remove to a casserole dish. 3. Heat the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken. 4. Bake the chicken for 50 - 60 minutes or until cooked. |
