This is a basic, simple recipe. Spices may be added if desired. My family likes it just the way it is. Nuts are optional. Ingredients:
3 bananas |
1 cup sugar |
1 egg |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1/4 cup soft margarine |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Mash bananas with fork. 2. Stir in other ingredients. 3. Pour into greased loaf pan. 4. Bake 1 hour in preheated oven set to 325. 5. Test for doneness and bake longer if necessary. This bread is very moist and chewy. |
