Moist and delicious- add nuts or mini chocolate chips for a special treat! Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1/3 cup margarine, softened |
2 eggs |
1 1/2 cups bananas, ripe, mashed |
1/3 cup water |
1 2/3 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Mix sugar, margarine and eggs until blended. 3. Add water and bananas. Beat 30 seconds. 4. Stir in the rest of the ingredients until just moistened. 5. Pour into greased 9 inch loaf pan. 6. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. 7. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. 8. Use a knife to loosen the loaf from the pan and remove loaf. Finish cooling on a cooling rack. |
