This is a favorite turkey stuffer for our family. Ingredients:
1 c. butter or margarine |
1 c. minced onion |
16 oz small oysters, drained and chopped |
1 t. poultry seasoning |
1 1/2 tsp. salt |
3/4 tsp. white pepper |
1/3 c. chopped parsley |
3/4 c. chopped celery leaves |
80 oz or 2 1/2 qt. bread cubes |
2 eggs, beaten (optional) |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a skillet 2. Add all ingredients except bread cubes 3. Cook 5 minutes 4. Add bread cubes and eggs (if desired) 5. makes 10 - 1 cup servings |
