Mom Mom's Mac and Cheese

My grandmother's Mac and Cheese. It's easy I love it. I buy already shredded cheese.
Ingredients:
2 cups macaroni
2 1/2 cups milk
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3/4 lb sharp cheddar cheese
1 egg
Directions:
1. Cook macaroni in boiling water 5 minutes. Drain and rinse twice with hot water. Chop and Grate cheese. ( or use shredded cheese). Add with cooked noodles i n baking dish.
2. Heat the milk and add cornstarch to make a paste. Don't let the milk get too hot. Add beaten egg. Pour over noodles and cheese. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees in oven for 25 minutes.
