Mom Mackey's Fruitcake

My husband's mom makes this, and it's the only fruitcake he will eat. It took 3 years to get this recipe from her!
Ingredients:
5 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
3 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
1 tablespoon salt
6 tablespoons salad oil
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups whole milk
2 cups finely chopped walnuts
2 cups finely chopped candied fruit (chop more than it is when you buy it)
2 cups raisins
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Measure and mix all ingredients together.
3. Pour into 4 lg loaf pans.
4. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes.
5. Can be eaten warm from the oven or saved for special times or the holidays.
